Legionella Awareness Training

Legionella Training is a legal requirement for all workplaces and schools

Outline

This HALF day course covers the following :

Legal framework for schools and educational settings
History of the disease and epidemiology, including identifying susceptible groups
How the bacteria grows in water systems (what can encourage or inhibit growth)
Understanding the water hygiene risk assessment
Practical ways that risks can be managed

Description

This training programme covers all the legal requirements of settings and school in the risk management of Legionella.

Outcomes

Certificates will be awarded on completion of the training.
